IRON SCAV is Chapel Hill's most socially illegal photo scavenger hunt. Founded in 1995 by a crew of hooligans that has since been incarcerated or deported, IRON SCAV tests your cunning, your morals, and your endurance in a six-hour race to find the most ridiculous, most scandalous photographs possible. The last event, held in November 2007, saw Team What the Junk take home the big prize. Now that most of them are no longer on probation, the 2008 event promises new categories, more challenging photo stunts, and a wider array of reprehensible behavior.
